Cygnet Clinic Pty Ltd (ABN: 21633929889) provides professional psychological assessment services including but not limited to:

  • Criminal Injuries Compensation assessments
  • Medico-legal psychological reports
  • Diagnostic assessments (ASD, ADHD, cognitive assessments)
  • Occupational assessments and fitness for duty evaluations

2. Professional Relationship

By engaging our services, you acknowledge that:

  • All psychologists are registered with AHPRA and bound by professional codes of conduct
  • Assessments are conducted according to Australian Psychological Society guidelines
  • Our relationship is professional and bound by confidentiality provisions
  • Reports are prepared for the specific purpose outlined in the referral

3. Fees and Payment

Assessment fees are determined based on the complexity and type of assessment required. Payment terms will be clearly outlined in your engagement letter. Services must be paid in accordance with the agreed payment schedule.

4. Appointments and Cancellations

We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. Late cancellations or non-attendance may incur a cancellation fee as outlined in your engagement letter.

5. Confidentiality and Privacy

Your personal and health information is protected under Australian privacy legislation. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your information.

6. Reports and Documentation

All reports remain the property of Cygnet Clinic until payment is received in full. Reports are prepared for the specific purpose outlined and should not be used for purposes other than those specified without written consent.

7. Limitations of Liability

Our psychological assessments are based on information available at the time of assessment and professional judgment. We provide opinions to the best of our professional ability but cannot guarantee specific outcomes in legal or compensation proceedings.

8. Professional Standards

All services are provided in accordance with:

  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) standards
  • Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics
  • Relevant State and Federal legislation

9. Complaints and Feedback

If you have concerns about our services, please contact us directly. Formal complaints can be lodged with AHPRA if you believe professional standards have not been met.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms of service. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
